Clan Destined Artwork!!!

Well, it’s been a month since my last post. I’ve been reflecting as well as getting some work completed fresh for the New Year. First up… We have the completion of Clan Destined ‘New’ Album “Self Titled”. A really , really DOPE piece of work. These young brother are wise beyond their years and it shows in the music. I knew they wanted some illustrations but I didn’t know what style I was going to flip for this… yet  did. I’m working on a couple of music projects now so I wanted them all to stand alone. For the art to really present the energy  the music possess.

So things started with this sketch. Took a minute because these dudes are distinct. DT got the skinny chubby face and Amdex got some thick ass eyebrows. HAAAA!

Next was the trace and color. This was the first version:

Looked good but… I needed more. So I worked at it because once I had the illustration… everything else would flow. Worked on it and… arrived at this:

Let me just say I’m pleased. You can see the entire art work at their album release party this Sat. at 529. Whole up…
