“Pronouns” Book Cover

February 1, 2011

This is A book cover I just completed called “Pronouns” by JoVonna Rodriguez. It is due out this month so be on the look out. Words from the Author:

Pronouns categorizes life through writing, often separated by visions and experience. A collection of poetry and prose describing every aspect of human existence, relating every emotion, and highlighting every struggle and success. Pronouns is something everyone can feel.

Jovonna Rodriguez:

JoVonna Rodriguez is finally exploring her appreciation for life through writing. Originally from Rochester, NY, she moved to Atlanta to pursue an education; graduating with a Bachelor’s in History from Emory University. In the mist of finding her professional path, she finally embraced her vocational passion of writing.

Finding her work to be more than personal therapy but a necessity for survival, she began to share her poetry on various sites branded by the alias: Joski Diesel. With the support of friends, the power of social media, the knowledge to set things in motion, and the determination to accomplish her goals, she launched her blog to showcase her talents and thoughts: http://www.joskidiesel.com.

Her love for expression is rooted in a love for community, service, and fellowship. As an AmeriCorps alum, she has continued to serve the Atlanta community, schools, and students. Her efforts helped fuel an after school enrichment program targeting at risk middle school females and now a blog to showcase her current class’ written work: http://www.wtnxt.blogspot.com.

JoVonna currently teaches middle school and plans to pursue her professional goals of being a life long educator, who is no longer afraid to embrace her love for writing.

This is some whole left shit to me G. I love looking at abstract art but i couldn’t create it to save my life. If you asked me where i thought your starting point on this piece was… I’d be just as lost as if you asked me where it ended. Simple complexities from the many faces of Flux, you killed this!

Again, appreciate the love peoples. @H, HAAAA! I was just revising some of my old techniques. I’m getting bored doing the same style of Art. I told you that. HAA! Really just hitting the paper and seeing what comes out. When I got to this project… I learned how to control it at the same time stay open. FANGSTA!!!
